THE DETAILS
Privacy policy
Updated 13 October 2026. This policy covers enquiries to Darzi, Clyde North, Melbourne.
Information you provide
You can contact us by phone, text or our website contact form. Text links open your messaging app. When you submit the form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, message and the page you enquired from. Wedding date and party size are optional for wedding enquiries. Online appointment bookings are handled through Square.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to respond, arrange consultations and follow up about garment work. We may record whether an enquiry leads to an attended consultation or a deposit to understand and improve our service. We do not sell or rent your details for marketing.
Storage and service providers
Contact form enquiries are stored in the website’s database and are accessible through the Darzi site owner’s private inbox. Website hosting providers process information to deliver this service. We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and provide the service. A temporary, hashed connection identifier helps us limit spam; your IP address is not stored with your enquiry.
Website tracking
We use a Google tag to measure advertising performance and website conversions. Google may use cookies and process page addresses, advertising click identifiers and technical information about your browser or device. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Tagged advertising links may contain campaign details and advertising click identifiers. We temporarily remember these in your browser session and store them with an enquiry you submit, so we can understand which marketing leads to consultations and clients. Website measurement events do not include your name, email address, phone number or message.
The booking section loads Square’s embedded booking service. Square may collect technical information and use cookies or analytics when you use its service. Booking information you enter is processed through Square; see Square’s Buyer Privacy Notice. Hosting providers may process technical request information to operate and protect the site.
Access and concerns
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your information. You can also raise privacy concerns with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Updates
We may update this policy as our services change.
